The Clinton administration, in a small concession to the American software and financial industries, Tuesday said it would ease requirements in some cases that software makers get an export license for each sale of strong encryption software.
The loosened rules apply to deals with foreign banks and financial institutions in 45 nations that have acceptable money-laundering laws." Read about it here.
