Microsoft's Chromium Edge is Getting Vertical Tabs, Smart Copy, and Password Monitor (venturebeat.com) 20
Microsoft today announced upcoming features for its Edge browser based on Google's Chromium open source project, the same browser Google's Chrome is based on. Consumer features like Vertical Tabs, Smart Copy, and Password Monitor are coming soon. Microsoft also shared a few updates for existing or already announced features like Collections, InPrivate mode, and Immersive Reader.

I'd call that something else. Maybe "Password Protection"?

Password Monitor will notify you if the credentials you’ve saved to autofill have been compromised as part of a hack. If Edge matches any of your saved usernames and passwords, a notification will prompt you to take action. A dashboard in Settings will list your leaked credentials and direct you to change your password on the implicated website. Browsers like Firefox and Chrome offer similar tools.

I used it for a few weeks for personal use only, I enjoyed it, it was solid, behaved like any modern browser. A little annoying that I had to tweak it to install chrome extensions.
The only reason I'm not using it full time is it's mute tabs, not sites, philosophy. There's only a handful of sites I want to hear audio from, and there's no easy way to do this without an extension. IMHO this should be a first class feature.

The main reason why I don't use it at all is because it's probably riddled with Microsoft telemetry - not to mention, Google code which, open source version or not, I don't much trust either.

I love Tree Style Tabs. I mean, why would I want to actually read the title of the tabs where there are more than 10 tabs?
I was very happy when the new version came out that was compatible with the latest Firefox. It has been out for a while, but it was frustrating when it wasn't available. It makes it so much easier to organize my browsing, especially when I have to work on more than a couple of problems and have several tabs open for reference.

Actually yes. Edge Chromium is basically where all new development is taking place and then being upstreamed. Google has been sitting idle for years in terms of features, whereas Microsoft having adopted the core browser, is actually pushing their ideas into it to move it forward.

Edge Missing Minor Features (Score:2)
One reason I don't use Edge is that minor things I've grown accustomed to in Firefox and Chrome don't work in Edge.
For example, I can't click on the URL in the address bar and drag it to a folder to save the link in Edge (the circle with a slash "forbidden" icon appears).
What little behavior annoyances have you found in Edge?
