sturgeon writes "A survey of 70 lead tier1/2 ISP security engineers came out today — says ISPs are now seeing backbone crushing 40Gbps+ traffic floods and wily large service level attacks (with sophisticated knowledge of expensive back-end queries). All makes the ISPs sound a bit pessimistic — one says "fewer resources, less management support and increased workload."
