In 6 months time, I am packing up and moving from Australia (Melbourne) to Canada (Vancouver). I am a qualified network engineer, and I want to know what sort of quirks and tricks I am going to have to get used to in the Canadian job market.
I am used to Australian recruiters, and all the hoops you have to go through, but I am curious about Canada. I have tried contacting recruiters directly for information, but really I don't get much information as I am not actually in the country yet, and therefore not worth their time.
Has anyone else made the big move from country to county, and is willing to share their experiences?"
