'We have found that the best defense against major unexpected failures is to fail often. By frequently causing failures, we force our services to be built in a way that is more resilient. In other words, you'll never be disappointed if you expect total incompetence. I've already achieved this same thing on my own with my Netflix account, by completely and utterly lowering my expectations.
